瑜珈雜誌對此系統的報導:
這是從Ashtanga瑜伽中獲取靈感引伸出來的一個流派,但整個練習仍遵循傳統哈他瑜伽的對立統一原則,目前在西方較為流行。
它是一種將呼吸和體式、知覺和身體、力量與柔韌整合在一起的運動,更多地為身體帶來愉悅平衡的影響。
Vinyasa 的練習把瑜伽的體式合理地組織在一起,以強化每個部位的鍛煉。
Flow則意味著在整個課程中所有的體式以穩定的節奏進行專注的練習。
該課程以拜日式為主要練習結構,幫助打開整個身體,讓意識專注向內,並通過體內能量通暢和排汗來排除體內毒素。

功效:課程功效類似於Ashtanga,運動強度稍弱。根據每個人的身體狀況,對每一種體式採取不同的練習方法,並且預防對身體的傷害。亦遵循哈他瑜伽對立統一的原則,亦即(日月結合),通過相反的姿勢進行練習,以達到身體的協調平衡。同時注重對某些部位進行集中、循序漸進、由簡入難地鍛煉。

禁忌:所有年齡段的人都適合練習。但是所有練習必須由簡入難。以下幾種狀況一旦出現,必須停止練習——呼吸變得混亂、失去內在的平靜、體內有壓力。

ASANA (POSTURE):
stretch the body, stretch the mind
Asana is defined as "posture". Its literal meaning is "seat".
More than just stretching, asanas open the energy channels (nadis) and the energy centers (chakras) of the body, purify and strengthen the body, and focus the mind, and prepare us for meditation.
PRANAYAMA (BREATHING): easy and free de-stressing
Yoga breathing, or Pranayama, ior "breath control". Ideally, opens up the inner life force; it is intended for yoga practitioners to help and prepare them in their Meditation process.
MEDITATION: the mind fully in the present moment
Meditation is creating the cessation of all thought. As thoughts dissipate, the mind becomes quiet, and we are able to be fully in the present moment. The benefits of a regular meditation practice include reduction of stress, tension, anxiety and frustration, as well as improved memory, concentration, inner peace and whole body well-being.
GYAN YOGA: inspiring platform for personal growth
The Yoga tradition come together through three things: experiencing (asana), understanding (gyan yoga) and living the knowledge (karma). By integrating these three, it essentially transforms into a way of life by bringing a totality to the experience while revealing its profound wisdom. When Yoga is practiced in its totality, the experience becomes an inspiring platform for personal growth and development.
KARMA YOGA: act without attachment
Karma Yoga is the path of serving others selflessly: putting in 100% effort but not expecting anything in return, with love and devotion one would serve others selflessly. Performing one's duties and serving humanity without any selfish motives purifies the heart and brings fulfillment.
SATSANG: sound and silence
Satsang means sit together and sing. Satsang is a very profound and powerful tool for healing, relaxation and celebration. The purpose of sound is to lead us to silence. The universal appeal of music has cut across barriers of race and language, inspiring an enthusiastic response among young and old alike. Satsang allows the stressful mind to unwind in a very short time, and for the alert mind to experience its own strength and depth.
AYURVEDA: yogic lifestyle
The study of life is Ayurveda. 'Veda' means knowledge - To know. 'Ayu' is life. The approach of Ayurveda towards life is holistic - the sum total. The holistic approach of Ayurveda includes exercises, breathing, meditation and yogic diet.

約翰.霍普金斯大學全美最佳醫院對癌細胞的新認知

多年來,我們只知道,化療是治療癌症唯一的方法。約翰霍普金斯大學研究告訴我們,發現有新的解決方法。
1.每個人在體內都有癌細胞,這些癌細胞在他們繁殖倍增至數十億個前,檢查時並無法察覺。另外當醫生會告訴癌症病人,經過治療,在他體內已經找不出癌細胞時,它的意思是,用一般檢察,無法發現癌細胞,因為癌細胞太少,未達到探測的標準。
2.癌細胞在人體的一生中大約成長6至10倍左右。
3.人類的免疫系統如果能正常運作狀況,癌細胞通常會被摧毀,根本不會形成腫瘤。
4.當一個人發生癌症,它代表著這人發生多重的營養不足,這可能是由於遺傳,環境,飲食和生活方式所造成。
5.要克服多重營養不足,可以由改變飲食和吃些營養劑,來加強免疫系統。
6.化療能摧毀快速生長的癌細胞,但也摧毀了骨髓,胃腸道的健康細胞,並引起器官損傷,例如肝臟,腎臟,心臟,肺臟等。
7.輻射治療,能摧毀癌細胞,同時也損害健康的細胞、組織和器官。
8.初期癌症,經由化療與輻射治療往往會減少腫瘤的大小,但長期使用化療與輻射治療,不會產生更佳的效果。
9.當身體有太多化療與輻射治療,其產生的後遺症,是令病人的免疫系統產生妥協,或喪失功能,換言之,癌症病人會發生各種的感染和併發症。
10.化療和輻射治療可引起癌症細胞變異,並演變為難以摧毀。外科手術更能造成癌細胞擴散到其他部位。
11.一個有效戰勝癌症的途徑是餓死它不給它養分,防止癌細胞成長。

癌細胞成長的食物:
A.糖是癌症細胞的食物,不吃糖就切斷了癌症細胞最重要的食物,病人不能吃糖可改用替代品如Nutrasweet, Equal, Spoonful等,這些都屬於阿斯巴甜(糖精),是有害的。更好的是吃天然替代品,如馬努卡蜂蜜或糖蜜,但只能非常少量,精製鹽會使蜂蜜或糖蜜變成白色,更好的選擇是吃布拉格氨基酸或海鹽。
B.牛奶會導致肌體產生痰液,特別是胃腸道癌症,痰液是他們的飼料,不吃牛奶改吃無糖豆漿,癌細胞就會餓死不再成長。
C.癌細胞喜愛在酸性體質中成長,吃肉會造成酸性體質,是最好是改吃魚,或吃少量的雞肉,千萬不要吃牛肉或豬肉;這些肉類含有抗生素,生長激素和寄生蟲等,都是有害身體的,特別是對癌症病人會發生不良影響。
D.健康的餐飲,就是食物中80%是來自新鮮蔬菜及果汁、全穀類、種子,堅果和少量水果,這些食物能幫助身體成為鹼性的體質。剩下的20%的食物,可從煮熟的食品獲得,例如豆類。新鮮蔬菜汁能提供活酶,他們很容易被吸收,並能在15分鐘內進入細胞,供給細胞健康生長所需。我們若要為細胞的健康著想,就要飲用蔬菜汁(大部分的蔬菜,包括豆芽),並且一天要吃二到三次生蔬菜。活酶在溫度為40攝氏度下烹調,會失去功效。
E.避免喝咖啡,茶,巧克力,因為有較高的咖啡因。綠茶是最好的飲料,它可以與癌細胞作戰。飲水最好喝純淨水,或是過濾過的,可避免吃下毒素和重金屬,蒸餾水屬於酸性,不要喝。

12.肉類蛋白質是難以消化的,需要耗費大量的消化酶來消化。未消化的肉類留在腸內,會變成毒性物質。
13.癌細胞的細胞壁有一個強硬的蛋白質膜。避免或少吃肉類,身體就能釋放更多的酶來攻擊癌細胞蛋白質壁,並產生殺手細胞,破壞癌細胞。
14.有些食物補充劑可以幫助免疫系統(IP6,Flor ssence, essiac,抗氧化劑,維生素,礦物質等),變為人體內的殺手細胞去破壞癌細胞,另外食物補充劑像維生素e,已知的功能即有助於細胞代換,或者幫助細胞按正常方式生長,即身體用健康的處理方法修補損壞的細胞,不至產生不想要的或不需要的細胞。
15.癌症是一種思想、身體和精神上綜合的疾病,積極和正面的思維,有助於得癌症的人戰勝它。不知運用寬恕與心存怨恨,會把人變成為一個處於壓力和酸性的不良體質。我們要時刻保有一顆充滿愛和寬恕的心,學習放鬆和享受人生!
16.癌細胞在含氧量大的身體中難以存活。運動與深呼吸,能幫助細胞獲得更多的氧氣,氧療法是破壞癌細胞的另一種方式。

請牢記
1.塑膠容器不能放在微波爐加熱。
2.水壺不要置於冰箱內冷凍。
3.塑料袋食物也不能置於微波爐中。約翰霍普金斯最近一份資料指出,戴奧辛化學品會引起癌症,特別是乳腺癌,此資料已送至美國沃爾特里德陸軍醫療中心供評估。戴奧辛化學品是劇毒,不得用塑膠瓶冰凍飲水,因為會釋出戴奧辛,最近愛德華藤博士在一個電視節目,提出了這個危害健康的大敵,警惕我們。他談到戴奧辛的可怕,他說我們不能在微波爐中用塑料容器加熱食物,尤其是含有脂肪的食物,他說高熱中戴奧辛會結合脂肪,將隨著食物進入人體細胞。他建議加熱食品要用玻璃,如康寧餐具,高硼或陶瓷容器,這些容器沒有戴奧辛是健康的。電視上的廣告食物,如速食麵和湯類等,都有害健康,問題出在紙質包裝,我們不知道包裝紙加熱時會釋放出什麼化學品,為安全著想,加熱時還是使用強化玻璃、康寧餐具等。
他也提醒我們,一些快餐店用的保特龍容器也是問題之一,不要使用。此外,他指出塑料包裝也是危險的。包裝食品後,在微波爐中加熱,由於高熱會釋放出化學品,造成毒素進入食物內。用波爐加熱食物,改用一般紙張包裝,會更安全。人生不要太圓滿,有個缺口讓福氣流向別人是很美的一件事。
