李歐納•科恩（Leonard Cohen）
詩人，小說家，歌手。一九三四年生於加拿大蒙特婁。一九五六年，他出版第一本詩集《讓我們比擬神話》(Let Us Compare Mythologies)時，仍在大學就讀。第二本詩集《大地的香料盒》（The Spice-Box of Earth）於一九六一年出版後，便獲得世界的注目。
首張音樂專輯《李歐納•科恩之歌》（Songs of Leonard Cohen）一九六七年問世。他到目前為止共出版九本詩集、兩本小說《鍾愛的遊戲》（The Favorite Game）和《美麗失敗者》，以及十六張音樂專輯。
他先是詩人和小說家，然後才成為一名歌手。但做為詩人與歌手之外，他更是一個「人」，一個美麗的失敗者。書成至今，三十餘年過去了，他依然佇立在美麗失敗者的行列裡。

1997 年 5 月 29 日晚上, Jeff Buckley 和朋友一起出遊,他一時興起,穿著衣服就跳入密西西比河游泳,幾分鐘後便消失在波浪裡, 一星期後,打撈單位在孟菲斯城河發現他的屍體,享年 31 歲.這位早慧又早逝的天才,在他短短的生命裡,為樂壇締造出一個丟卻商業污染的奇蹟,詩般的歌詞,神秘的實驗曲式,加上他掏心的唱腔,源自於心底深處的迴響,塑成獨一無二的真心悸動.

哈利路亞（Hallelujah，Halleluyah，或 Alleluia），天主教譯作阿肋路亞，又譯哈雷路亞和阿利路亞等，（通常來說，不論是新教或天主教，都會直接唸原文而非譯文），是從希伯來文「הַלְלוּיָהּ」音譯而來，意爲“（讓我們）讚美（הַלְּלוּ）上帝（יָהּ）”，或翻譯爲“讚美主”。“Yah”是“YHWH”（參見耶和華）的縮寫。這個辭彙主要出現在《詩篇》。它已經被許多西方語言接受。這個詞語在猶太教作爲讚美詩（《詩篇》113篇-118篇）禱文的一部分。
這個詞在希伯來《聖經》中，主要在《詩篇》中（例如：113篇-118篇）出現過24次，多次在詩篇中出現，並在希臘語版的《啓示錄》中出現四次。
對於大部分基督徒，哈利路亞是對上帝的最熱情讚頌。很多基督教派別不會在大齋期時間內說或唱《哈利路亞》以及《榮歸主頌》（Gloria in Excelsis Deo），取而代之的是大齋期頌揚（Lenten acclamation）。
