歌雅特瑞曼達拉（Gayatri Mantra 智慧之母）

在印度瑜伽的日常唱誦中，歌雅特瑞曼達拉（Gayatri Mantra）是非常重要的。　　

Om Bhur Bhuva Suvah　　

Tat Savithur Varenyam　　

Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi　　

Dhiyo Yonah Prachodayat 　　　　

歌雅特瑞曼達拉（Gayatri Mantra智慧之母），印度教和印度教徒信仰、啓發智慧最重要的曼特拉。它意味著“願萬能的聖主明亮我們的智力，引導我們遵循正確的道路”。

我們沈浸在我們至高無上聖主最值得敬慕的、最令人想望的、最令人沈醉的榮耀（光輝）之中，他是我們的創造者（上帝），使我們産生靈感，內在喜悅的源泉。願這光明賜予我們靈感，啓發我們的智力（並且驅散我們的無知）。

The meaning of the Gayatri mantra is as follows:
We contemplate the glory of Light illuminating the three worlds: gross, subtle, and causal.I am that vivifying power, love, radiant illumination, and divine grace of universal initelligence.We pray for the divine light to illumine our minds.

梵文字義: 　　

Aum: 原始的聲音 (從此一切聲音顯現); 　　

Dheemahi: 我們沈思在其上; 　　

Varenyam: 最值得敬慕的，最令人想望的，最令人沈醉的;　　

Bhargo: 光耀或光輝; 　　

Tat: 屬於其; 　　

Devasya: 至高無上（聖主、上主）; 　　

Savitur: 從他所有的生命出現（也意味著太陽神，衪是我們生命的源泉）;

Bhur: 衪是我們的啓示者; 　　

Bhuvah:衪是我們的創造者; 　　

Suvaha: 衪是無上喜悅的居處; 　　

Bhur, Bhuvah and Suvaha：同樣也被認爲意味著三界（lokaas），即天堂、地球、下界。 　　

Yo: 願這光明; 　　

Prachodayaat: 激發或啓發; 　　

Naha: 我們; 　　

Dhiyo: 智力 (智力活動的能力)。
